Your data is not our product. DanzStak is not a data broker. We do not sell or rent personal information, license user lists, or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

This Privacy Policy explains how DanzStak LLC (“DanzStak,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use danzstak.com, our social-networking features, and related services (the “Service”).

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Account details, such as your name, username, email address, password credentials managed by our authentication provider, and profile information.
• Original content you create, including posts, comments, messages, photos, videos, event details, and other permitted uploads. Videos may contain the uploader's original music, but DanzStak does not accept standalone audio files or third-party copyrighted material.
• Your communications with us, including support, moderation, privacy, and legal requests.
• Transaction and booking information if paid features are introduced. Full payment-card data will be handled by authorized payment providers rather than stored by DanzStak.

Information collected automatically

• Device, browser, IP address, language, approximate location derived from IP, and operating-system information.
• Usage data, including pages viewed, features used, interactions, referrals, timestamps, and diagnostic logs.
• Cookies and similar technologies used for secure sessions, device preferences, and fraud prevention.

Information from others

We may receive information from authentication providers, service providers, other users who interact with or mention you, and third-party integrations that you choose to connect.

Messages and peer-to-peer calls

Direct text messages are stored so participants can retain their conversation history until they remove it from their account. WebRTC calls require camera or microphone permission and establish an encrypted peer connection between authorized friends or members of a shared Tribe. DanzStak temporarily processes call-signaling data but does not record call audio or video. A call participant may learn technical connection information such as your IP address and may independently record or capture a communication using their device.

2. How We Use Information

• Provide, personalize, maintain, and improve the Service.
• Authenticate users and protect accounts and sessions.
• Publish and distribute content according to your settings and actions.
• Enable social connections, messaging, music discovery, events, and bookings.
• Detect spam, fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our Terms.
• Communicate service, safety, support, and—where allowed—marketing messages.
• Comply with law, enforce agreements, and protect users, DanzStak, and the public.

3. Legal Bases for EEA and UK Users

Where applicable, we process information to perform our contract with you, comply with legal obligations, protect vital interests, pursue legitimate interests such as safety and service improvement, and based on consent where required. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.

4. How Information Is Shared

• With other users and the public: profile and content information you choose to publish may be visible, copied, reshared, or indexed.
• With service providers: hosting, authentication, storage, content delivery, security, customer support, email, and payment providers acting under appropriate terms and only as needed to operate the Service.
• For legal and safety reasons: when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, enforce terms, investigate abuse, or protect rights and safety.
• With your direction: when you connect an integration or otherwise ask us to share information.

We do not sell or rent personal information, license user lists, act as a data broker, or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not publish your posts to external social platforms automatically. Service providers process information as needed to operate DanzStak; they do not receive ownership of your content or permission to use it for their own advertising.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies for authentication, security, and core functionality. We do not use advertising cookies or build profiles for targeted advertising. Any future non-essential measurement would require a policy update and any consent required by law. Browser settings may block cookies, but essential features may then stop working. We will honor legally required preference signals, including Global Privacy Control where applicable.

6. Data Retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including providing the Service, maintaining security, resolving disputes, and meeting legal obligations. Retention depends on the information type, account status, sensitivity, legal requirements, and operational need. Deleted content may remain temporarily in backups or be retained when legally required.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including encrypted transport, access controls, secure authentication, monitoring, and restricted service access. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. International Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use recognized safeguards for international transfers, such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, or another lawful mechanism.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your information; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling; and appeal a denied request. The Service is not directed to children under 13, and users must be at least 13 or the higher minimum age required in their country. 11. User Content and Public Information

Think carefully before posting. Public content may remain available through copies, screenshots, search engines, or other users even after you delete it from DanzStak. Do not post another person’s personal information without authority.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy. We will post the revised version, update the effective date, and provide additional notice when legally required. Continued use after the effective date is subject to the updated Policy.
